Helen makes excellent use of creative resources within her work and her creative writing sessions are always well thought out, stimulating and inspiring. Helen is very approachable and friendly, she is skilled at putting people at ease in new situations and also gently builds confidence in a very productive way. I would highly recommend Helen both as a tutor and as a writer.

I really valued being able to submit some work and have feedback. I found it useful to have the form of the course, which offered structure. It is very helpful to know there is a listening ear and it was useful to be able to work towards the conclusion of sending a piece of work in at the end. It has been a great support to have the gentle support of this Writing Tree course in the background while I write my novel.
